About Cohasset
Cohasset was discovered by Captain John Smith in 1614 and is a charming New England seaside village that
remains unspoiled by development. There are only 7,585 residents while the town harbor has a boat population
of 520. The town has a classic village common (where segments of the movie "The Witches of Eastwick" were
shot in 1986) a main street with small boutique shops and gourmet restaurants, and even a quaint soundtrack
to the place, as provided by the 56-bell carillon of St. Stephen's Church.

"Cohasset is the South Shore's ultimate power suburb, comfortably outdistancing its neighbors in terms of
personal income, housing values, education, people with managerial and professional jobs, and the aspirations
of its high school seniors. But what you have to understand is that it is considered one thing to have money
here and another thing to show it. Even if you're a captain of finance (Neal Finnegan, president and CEO of US
Trust), a high-profile entreprenuer (Christy Mihos, president and CEO of Christy's markets, Inc.) or a techie
who's been successful enough to have recently ponied up $1,650,000 for an ocean view (David Eisenhaure,
president and CEO of SatCon Technology Corp) you're supposed to play it low and slow. The 210 member
Cohasset Yacht Club, after all, produces serious sailors who are often also very well heeled, but the amenities
inside the tony shingled facility consist primarily of a couple restrooms and a soda machine. Cohasset's history
of Yankee restraint persists."
Cohasset is also home to the South Shore Music Circus which is a 2,300 seat theater in the round that attracts
big-name performers. For example, Summer 2007's schedule included: Aretha Franklin, Liza Minnelli, Hootie &
the Blowfish, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny G, George Carlin, Bill Cosby, The Beach Boys, The Indigo Girls, and
Leann Rimes. There were also children's shows like The Frog Prince, Cinderella, and The Three Pigs. To learn
